The Green Earth Research Foundation is a trust driven by the motto of rural upliftment, which it wishes to achieve by improving the socio-economic status of the rural population, developing entrepreneurship, providing health care services and augmenting quality education. Our vision, mission and action are directed towards creating a platform that promotes a win-win situation where the greenness and fertility of earth is assured through passionate participation of rural population thereby also ensuring an enhancement in their economic and living conditions. With 60% of the Indian population dependent on agriculture for employment, our trust targets this sector in enabling and empowering them to make use of scientific technology in farming thus maximizing the probability of high yields and immunizing them to a large extent from agricultural uncertainties. The founder of the trust, Dr. Rajesh Pati, is a plant biotechnologist and a zealous promoter of scientific farming with special emphasis on application of modern biotechnological tools in agriculture sector for enhanced production and productivity thereby leading to development of the rural economy. The trust would serve as a platform for transfer of technologies from lab to land with an aim to make the rural population self efficient and self dependent. The trust is eager to collaborate with NGOs, Research Institutes and Private Companies to strengthen the services and facilities.
